Volunteer Search: Marketing & Brand Coordinator
Job: Marketing & Brand Coordinator
Works With: Board , other committees as needed.
Description: Do you have an eye for specific color values and font size? Are you good at tracking details? Do you enjoy helping people? If this describes you, you might be interested in being a Marketing and Brand Coordinator for the OTW.
This may be a job for one person, or for two or three, depending on the skills and interests of the people involved. We want to make it easy for fan artists and OTW committee members to create flyers, websites, posters, T-shirts, etc., to raise awareness, but we’re also looking to maintain some consistency about the way our name and logo get represented. Depending on skills and interest, the Coordinator might help us come up with templates for other designers to work with, or take on the responsibility of making sure the templates are used correctly, or some combination of the two.
Design experience isn’t required, but it’s good to have. More important is a willingness to be part of a design process that involves revisions and negotiations, an eye for detail, and an eagerness to learn.
Estimated Time Involved: We anticipate several hours a week for the next month or so as the templates get created, then answering a few email queries a week after that.
How to Volunteer: Send an email to volunteers@transformativeworks.org or post a comment here. All comments on this post are screened in order to protect the privacy of volunteers providing personal information.
