Hello again! I heard back from Legal, and here is their response:
"We are absolutely willing to help if we can find someone with the necessary legal knowledge. Fortunately, our friends at the EFF (Electronic Frontier Foundation, eff.org) are making a major effort to develop global legal expertise, and we plan to call on them in such situations. In any situation, US or non-US, we'll see what we can do based on the facts and our resources."
In this case, I don't know if there is a board or official policy with regard to obscenity/depictions of underage characters specifically, but I would consider it as part of the general umbrella of legal advocacy and assistance. It is my understanding, however, that we do not have any volunteers with legal knowledge and background in Australian or Canadian law at this time, so it may be some time before we could provide recommendations regarding 'policy/suggestions/a way to help.' If the poster has any expertise or qualifications in this area, or knows someone who does, and might consider volunteering, we would be interested in hearing from them. In the meantime, groups like the EFF or the EFA - Electronic Frontiers Australia - http://www.efa.org.au/ might be better placed to help."
