I am sorry. I misread your post and thought that you were saying that we should just ban all people who are underage. It's been a long couple of days. I understand. It's been that way for all of us. I may be being ultra-sensitive as a result too.

Why are you talking so much about the HP fandom? I am just. I can't follow your leap.

I was trying to say that I hadn't initially suggested the solution that FA chose because I didn't know how many of the fen here are familiar with it. Or, alternatively, if other fandoms have found other solutions that might be more appropriate I didn't want to exclude them.

Although if you really wanted to start a discussion I personally would have said something which would have been far, far stupider. Although may I suggest to either not apologize in your post for what you are saying? It makes me as a reader assume you have something to apologize for, but I come from the "apologize when the shit hits the fan" school of thought.

I don't understand the first sentence here. I wasn't, necessarily, apologizing for what I'm saying. I was trying to make it clear that I'm not against underage fen...that's not what I was asking...I'm for protecting all the fen. I know that everyone is a bit sensitive right now and I thought it would be best to be as transparent and honest about what I was asking/intended as possible.

I don't think that asking a question about what is a true legal issue affecting any archive is something to apologize for, but if I worded in such a way that what I was trying to ask/say wasn't clear, that I can apologize for.
