Welcome to Fandom First Friday! What is #FFF? The first Friday of every month, the OTW celebrates one aspect of fandom. This month’s theme is shapeshifting!

Shapeshifters occupy an interesting niche in mythology. Whether they’re powerful beings pretending to be normal humans, robots in disguise, or the ever-popular werewolves, they have a connection with the different aspects of the universe related to their different forms. That extra perspective doesn’t always come with a natural state of zen, though, so spending time with shapeshifters is often quite eventful. But really, that’s one of the things that makes them so much fun.
