Job Title: F-001 Researcher--Financial

Reports To: Chair of Financial committee.

Job Description: Under the close supervision of the chair, to gather and organize information regarding products and services for review by the committee. For example, to conduct a survey of on-line payment gateways and to provide a synopsis of each service available and a side by side comparison of features.

Skills Required: Good analytical and communication skills (particularly written communication). Accounting experience a plus but not required.

Estimated Time Commitment/Length of Commitment: Short term commitment of up to four hours per week. Commitment to extend through end of year.

Other Information: Must have ability to participate in occasional online chats.

Job Title: F-002 Membership Financial Specialist

Reports To: Chair of Financial committee.

Job Description: To advise and assist the committee on special issues related to the financial management of membership organizations. The volunteer may be asked to attend some committee meetings for this purpose and to review and provide feedback on policies and procedures developed by the committee.

Skills Required: Good analytical and communication skills. Experience with membership organizations required; experience in accounting with membership organizations strongly preferred.

Estimated Time Commitment/Length of Commitment: Long term commitment: probably two to four hours per week over the next couple of months (say through end of November). After that, they will operate more on a "retainer" basis--possibly only two to fours per month.

Other Information: Must have ability to participate in occasional online chats.
